In short
We use only what we need so you can find and be found: your search, your location only when you give it, and your account details if you make one. We don't sell data and we don't show ads.
Search and location
What you type is sent to our server to find results and is not kept together with who you are. If you use "near me", your browser asks first; the location is used for that search only and we don't keep it. When our rules can't understand a query, its words alone, nothing about you, may be sent to an artificial intelligence provider.
The map
The map is drawn from OpenStreetMap data served by OpenFreeMap. Your browser asks for it directly, so OpenFreeMap sees your device's IP address, as any site serving images does.
Accounts
If you create an account we keep your name, email address, password (only as a hash, never in plain text) or your link to Google or Apple, and what you publish: your profile, business, hours and images. Codes we email expire in 10 minutes. You can ask us at any time to show you or delete your data.
Emails
We email you only about your account (codes, invitations) and, if you confirmed, launch news. Every news email has an unsubscribe link.
Visit statistics
We use Umami, hosted on our own server, to know how many people visit the site and which pages they read. It sets no cookies, doesn't recognise you from one visit to the next and respects Do Not Track. We see totals only: pages, the site you came from, country and type of device.
Appearance
If you choose the light or dark appearance, your choice is kept only in your browser and never reaches us.
Infrastructure
The domain and the secure connection go through Cloudflare. Our server keeps technical logs (IP address, page requested, time) for security and to fix errors, and deletes them automatically after 14 days.
What comes next
Before you can create an account or book, we'll update this page with everything we collect then, why and for how long, and how to ask us to see or delete it.
Contact
An address to write to us about your data appears here before launch.
